Returns & Reprints Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Returns & Reprints Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all orders placed with Print Six Solutions. Because virtually all of our products are custom-manufactured to your exact specifications and files, our ability to accept returns or issue refunds is limited. This policy is designed to comply with Ontario consumer protection requirements while reflecting the custom nature of the goods.
1. Core Principle
Print Six Solutions does not accept returns of custom-printed products except where the reason is valid and falls within the limited circumstances described below. Reprints are provided only when the defect or error is attributable to Print Six Solutions, and such reprints will be produced and shipped within seven (7) business days of our validation of the claim.
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act or other applicable Canadian law (for example, where goods are not as described or are defective).
2. What Constitutes a Valid Reason for Reprint or Limited Return
We will consider a claim valid only if one or more of the following applies:
- Print Six Solutions Error: The product materially differs from the approved proof or written specifications due to our production error (e.g., wrong material, cutting errors, significant colour deviation beyond industry tolerances attributable to our process, missing pages, or finishing errors caused by us).
- Damage in Transit Attributable to Packaging Failure: Products arrive damaged and the damage is reasonably attributable to inadequate packaging by Print Six Solutions (not solely carrier mishandling). Photographic evidence is required.
- Defective Materials or Workmanship: Clear manufacturing defects in materials or binding/finishing that render the product unusable for its intended purpose.
3. What Is Not Covered (No Returns / No Reprints)
We do not accept returns or provide reprints for:
- Customer errors in ordering (wrong size, quantity, paper stock, finishing options selected).
- Issues arising from low-resolution, incorrect colour mode, or otherwise deficient Customer Content/files.
- Spelling, grammatical, design, or content errors present in the approved proof or submitted files.
- Minor colour variations inherent to digital or offset printing processes, or differences between screen display and printed output.
- Buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with design choices made by the customer.
- Damage caused by the carrier after the product left our facility (we will assist with carrier claims where possible).
- Orders that have been cut, folded, written on, or otherwise altered after delivery.
- Any claim submitted after the deadline stated below.
4. How to Submit a Claim
- Contact us at support@printsix.solutions or through your account within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date shown by the carrier.
- Provide: order number, clear description of the issue, and high-resolution photographs (and, if requested, video) showing the defect from multiple angles, including packaging if damage is claimed.
- We may request return of the affected items (at our expense if the claim is validated) or additional information.
- We will review the claim in good faith and notify you of our determination, typically within three (3) business days of receiving complete information.
5. Remedies for Valid Claims
If we determine the claim is valid and attributable to our error:
- Reprint: Our primary remedy is to reprint the affected items (or the entire order if necessary) at no additional charge and ship them to the original address (or an agreed alternative) within seven (7) business days of claim validation. Production and shipping time for the reprint begins upon validation.
- Refund or Partial Credit: At our sole option, we may issue a full or partial refund or store credit instead of or in addition to a reprint, particularly if a reprint is impractical. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time (typically 5–15 business days) to the original payment method.
- No Other Remedies: These remedies are your exclusive contractual remedies for defective or incorrect products, subject to any non-waivable statutory rights.
6. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before production begins. Once files are in production or setup has commenced, cancellation may not be possible or may incur charges for work already performed. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel. Statutory cancellation rights under Ontario law (for example for non-delivery) remain available where applicable.
